Gas

As the plume of steam emitts from my mouth for the hundreth time I reach for the central heating only to have second thoughts, thoughts that if i press that button I will be burdened with a hevty bill.I realise I have two choices:

1. Turn the heating on: be happy and content(Until the bill comes)
2. Don't turn the heating on: stay cold and miserable. (Maintain economical well being)

I choose the latter because British Gas has decided to hike up its prices by 7%. This is to come into effect on the 7th of December.

It is going to be a cold winter for many people.
